STAY FOR STRAY KIDS (ENGLISH)

Stay has proven to be a united and empathetic fandom. Doing small and big solidarity projects on behalf of Stray Kids that benefits people in need. Filipino Stay carried out a project in which it donated certain supplies and basic necessities to people who continue to be affected by Covid-19.

We contacted them to tell us about their solidarity initiative.

Tell us what this project is about and how it came about?
- Due to the pandemic, a lot of our fellow Filipinos lost their jobs and source of living which left a lot of families struggling to make ends meet. The idea of a community pantry actually originated from one of the communities in the Philippines which was also adapted by other communities all over thw country.

What is its main goal?
- The goal was really just to reach out to our impoverished fellowmen with children's needs.

Would you like it to expand?
- No. This was really supposed to be a short project since we only supplied children's goods to a few existing community pantries in areas near us.

What are your plans for the future?
- Nothing for now unless there will be a need to do it again. :)

What would you say to Stray Kids if they noticed your project?
- Will be really grateful for them for bringing stays together because this project wouldn't be a success withoit the help of literally every stay everywhere, all around the world.

How can we support if we are International Stays?
- During the existence of the project we accepted donations through paypal.

- I am really thankful for Stray Kids coming into my life. Without them, I wouldn't have met new stays turning into friends. I wouldn't also be given this opportunity to have a platform and use it to be able to reach out to people in need. Thank you so much and I love every bit of being a stay.

When is this project going to finish?
-It actually has already finished after we collected the last batch of donations and distributed them to chosen communities.

And where is the place you guys want to help?
- We were able to help a few communities in Quezon City, PH that were accessible to @screenskz and I.

do you get a phase for this project ?
-We were able to have 2 phases for this project and that's it for now. 😊

- I'm pretty grateful for the arrival of Stray Kids in my life. Without them, I wouldn't have met some Stay who have become my friends. I wouldn't even have this opportunity to have a platform and use it to be able to reach people in need. Thank you so much and I love each part of being Stay.
